Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has vowed to exert pressure on Israel to halt the ongoing conflict in Gaza, as he addressed the Shangri-La Dialogue security conference in Singapore on Sunday.
The visit comes nearly eight months into the protracted Israel-Hamas war.
In his speech, Zelensky affirmed Israel's right to self-defence against "Hamas terrorists" while expressing deep concerns about the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which has been under heavy assault by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
