Princess Anne has arrived at the Common Wealth War Garve Commission's annual Service of Remembrance.
The ceremony will see torches of remembrance arrive at the cathedral.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Princess unveiled a statue of a Second World War Canadian Royal Regina Rifleman.
The Princess has been Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment since 1982.
