The Russian Ministry has reported the successful elimination of two vehicles in the Avdeevka sector of the front.
Avdeevka, a key city, was captured by Russian forces in February this year.
According to TASS, a U.S. Abrams tank was hit by a high-precision Krasnopol artillery shell launched from an Msta-S self-propelled howitzer.
Video footage shows the Msta-S firing from a well-covered position in the woods.
In January 2023, the U.S. agreed to send a total of 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry has claimed the destruction of several of these vehicles, one of which was displayed in Moscow last month as part of a trophy show.
Reports from late April indicate that Ukraine had to pull back its Abrams tanks from the front due to increased difficulties posed by Russian drone strikes.
At that time, AP estimated that Kyiv had lost a total of five Abrams tanks.
Additionally, Ukraine received around 200 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, with approximately one-third being destroyed by Russian forces #RussiaUkraineWar #Avdeevka #AbramsTank #Krasnopol #MstaS #ArtilleryStrike #RussianMilitary #UkraineConflict #DefenseNews #MilitaryTactics #TankDestruction #DroneStrikes #FrontlineNews #BradleyFightingVehicles #WarUpdate ~HT.178~ED.194~GR.124~
