So my save data was gone when I was going to play it the next day.

Good thing I did because otherwise, I'd have to play the game all over again with another zero chance of saving progress and I'd have to do it again the following week or play a different game.

So I bought a memory card and changed the internal battery.

Now all is good so we can press on!
