In this 27th episode of 'A Talk About Palestine', host Omar Shargawi is in Amman, Jordan, just 175 km from Rafah, where Israel is currently carrying out inhumane massacres of Palestinian civilians who have taken refuge in tents in so-called "safe zones".
Here, Omar talks to the Palestinian artist and activist Suhad Khatib, who was born and raised in Jordan and has lived in the United States for 17 years.
We talk about the decay of imperialism, about the parallels between Black Lives Matter and the Palestinian freedom struggle, and how the institutions of the power elite use propaganda and segregation as weapons to create division between all of us who are fighting for exactly the same thing: freedom and the right to exist on an equal footing with everyone else.
