Katy Perry has officially announced her new single, "Woman's World," set to drop on July 11th, after months of teasing new music.
The pop star first hinted at new material when she revealed her departure from American Idol to focus on other projects, expressing on Jimmy Kimmel Live her desire to "feel that pulse to my own beat." In May, she confirmed her return to the studio by skipping the MET gala to record, and later hinted at a summer release on TikTok.
On June 17th, Perry finally shared the release date for her single and an accompanying music video, with reports suggesting the track will feature a sample of Donna Summer’s "I Feel Love" and be produced by Dr. Luke.
