Acts 5:1-33, Speak to the People All the Words of This Life
Acts 5:1-33, Speak to the People All the Words of This Life

Within just the first few weeks following the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension of Jesus, those in Jerusalem saw multiple manifestations of the Holy Spirit’s power in the Apostles to perform miracles and to boldly testify of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.

“And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women” (Acts 5:14 NKJV).

In today’s passage, we see the religious leaders again attempting to stop their preaching, but God miraculously delivers the imprisoned apostles and commands them to “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life" (Acts 5:20 NKJV).
