In a big boost for Kyiv, Ukraine and NATO member Poland signed a bilateral security agreement in Warsaw on July 8.
Zelensky spoke about the new pact after signing the security deal with Polish PM Donald Tusk, saying the security agreement provides for a provision to develop a mechanism to shoot down Russian missiles and drones fired in the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of Poland.
