It took A LOT of rejection from Israel for the Most High, YAH to finally withdraw Himself from them and since His departure, the black slave descendants--the lost sheep of the house of Israel--have lost EVERYTHING.
As prophesied, we don't even know who we are.
Jeremiah 17:4 "...you (Israel), even yourself, shall discontinue from your heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you know (knew) not: for you have kindled a fire in Mine anger, which shall burn for ever." In this case however, "for ever" simply means "for a very long time"; it does NOT mean eternally because YAH and Israel will be reunited, never to be separated again, PRAISE YAH!
But until that day comes, we don't have knowledge of self because we rejected knowledge of self by rejecting YAH.
Deuteronomy 32:26 "I (YAH) said, I will scatter them (the Israelites), and I will cause their memorial to cease from among men." When we remember who we are and return to Father YAH and our heritage with Him, it is important that we return truly repentant, shamefaced and humble.
This is why Hosea 9:1 says, "Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for you have gone a whoring from your Father (YAH)..." Yes, we share a glorious heritage with the Creator Himself, but that's precisely why we should NOT be proud of ourselves for all the wickedness we've done and are still doing.
DO NOT get a little bit of knowledge and become a know-it-all who can't be corrected or reproved.
Psalms 141:5 "Let the righteous smite me; IT SHALL BE A KINDNESS: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head..." DO NOT exalt yourself because of your knowledge or anything else you may possess; remember that "the lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and YAH alone shall be exalted in that day.
For the Day of YAH of hosts shall be upon EVERY ONE THAT IS PROUD AND LOFTY, AND UPON EVERY ONE THAT IS LIFTED UP; AND HE SHALL BE BROUGHT LOW:" (Isaiah 2:11-12).
Fear YAH and do the things that please Him.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 "Thus says YAH, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am YAH which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says YAH."
