A sweeping review of the UK’s defence and security will begin next week.
The review will set out a “road-map” to increasing the UK’s defence spending to 2.5% of GDP.
The defence secretary said that the review will aid the government to “get to grips with the threats we face, the capabilities we need for the future, the state of our armed forces, and also the state of the public finances” Report by Covellm.
