Irish rock and blues star Rory Gallagher's 1961 Fender Stratocaster guitar will hit the auction block later this year and could fetch up to $1.28 million.
Claire Tole-Moir, who heads the popular culture and science department at auction house Bonhams, says the guitar has "been deemed the most recognizable Fender Stratocaster in the world."
