Michael Douglas hit the red carpet with son Dylan and daughter Carys at a special screening of his film, America's Burning at DGA New York Theater in New York City last night.
The Oscar-winning actor and producer served as Executive Producer and narrator for the documentary directed by David Smick which analyzes the reasons for hate and division in the country today, including the economy.
We spoke with Douglas about the film, as well as what makes him still proud to be an American, his best advice from his late father, legendary actor Kirk Douglas and what it takes to keep his nearly 25-year marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones alive.
America's Burning opens in New York theaters July 12.
