Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, issued a stark warning to Israel during a rally in Beirut on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion of Ashura, which commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), Nasrallah vowed extensive retaliation should Israel launch a ground invasion into Lebanon.
Addressing a crowd in Beirut, Nasrallah emphasised Hezbollah's readiness to respond decisively to any Israeli aggression.
"If your tanks come to Lebanon and south Lebanon, you will not have a shortage of tanks, as you will no longer have any tanks left," he stated, underscoring Hezbollah's preparedness for conflict.
