Legendary actor Bob Newhart dies at 94.

The actor and comedian was beloved across multiple generations for his roles in The Bob Newhart Show , Elf , The Big Bang Theory, and more.

Over the course of his career Newhart earned multiple awards and accolades, including three Grammys, one Emmy, a Golden Globe, and an induction into the Television Hall of Fame in 1993.

Newhart passed away on Thursday in Los Angeles after a series of short illnesses, according to his publicist Jerry Digney.

He was 94 years old.

Massive Microsoft outage reported globally, grounding flights and stalling businesses.

The outage reportedly stems from a failed software update for Microsoft Windows operating systems, which was issued by CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity technology firm based out of Texas.

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz along with Microsoft have since claimed that a solution has been put into action, however many businesses, airlines, health services, 911 operating lines, and banks are still reporting system failures.

Broadcast journalist Lou Dobbs dead at 78.

Dobbs' journalism career spanned over 5 decades, he spent more than 20 years with CNN, a network which he helped shape, and 10 years with the Fox Business Network before his show's cancellation in 2021.

His passing was confirmed on his official social media accounts on Thursday evening, writing 'Lou was a fighter until the very end - fighting for what mattered to him the most, God, his family and the country.'
