The Iranian Foreign Ministry has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Israeli airstrikes on western Yemen, warning that such aggression could severely escalate the already volatile situation in the region.
The condemnation comes in the wake of Israeli warplanes targeting civilian infrastructure in the Yemeni province of al-Hudaydah, including buildings, oil facilities, and a power station, leading to multiple casualties.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan’ani criticised the Israeli regime for its “child-killing” aggression, alleging that the attacks are a manifestation of Tel Aviv’s aggressive and dangerous policies.
Kan’ani expressed concerns that these actions could further inflame regional tensions and exacerbate the conflict, potentially leading to a broader war.
