In a stark revelation, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has issued a warning about an Iranian-backed plot to attack Israeli athletes participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Katz detailed these concerns in a letter to his French counterpart, Stéphane Séjourné, highlighting intelligence pointing to a possible threat.
According to Katz, the Israeli government has intelligence suggesting that proxies of Iranian terror groups are planning to target Israeli athletes.
