In this episode of my Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster Walkthrough, we go back into the Earth Cave.
The rod we got in exchange for the Ruby was used to go deeper down.
At the bottom, we encounter Lich and use it's weakness as an undead against it.
Finally, we return to Melmond with the Earth Crystal regaining it's light.
