Prime minister Sir Keir Starmer held an emergency Cobra meeting on Monday morning after large groups of people set fire to hotels housing asylum seekers in Rotherham and Tamworth.
Addressing the details of the meeting, Mr Starmer said: "We will have a standing army of specialist officers, so we will have enough officers to deal with this where we need them." Report by Kennedyl.
