Steve Martin is weighing in on the requests for him to play Tim Walz on 'Saturday Night Live.'
Martin's name quickly started trending on social media after Vice President Kamala Harris selected Minnesota Gov.
Walz as her running mate in her 2024 presidential bid.
Martin, who has made frequent guest appearances on 'SNL' and hosted the show numerous times, indicated that he saw the chatter.
He wrote on Instagram Threads, "I just learned that Tim Walz wants to go on the road with Marty Short."
