Hamas member Osama Hamdan refuted Israeli claims of assassinating Mohammed Deif, the military leader of Hamas.
Hamdan stated Deif is "fine" and suggested Israel's claim was to justify a massacre that killed 88 Palestinians.
The ongoing Israeli offensive, launched after Hamas's October 7 operation, has reportedly resulted in nearly 40,000 Palestinian deaths, over 92,000 injuries, and thousands missing.
Israel accuses Deif and Yahya Sinwar of orchestrating the October attack.
