Foreigner drops first new song in eight years, vault track titled 'Turning Back the Time.'
The new song, which was co-written by Foreigner co-founders Mick Jones and Lou Gramm, comes as part of the band's new 18-song, 'best-of' compilation which is set to release October 4.
The original demo was recorded back in 1996, prior to Gramm's official departure from the band in 2003.
The release also comes just in time to celebrate the group's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is slated for October 19.
