Penni Nation is a self-taught artist and photographer who loves to try to capture nature, and especially loves horses.
She remembers beginning to drawing horses in Kindergarten, and her friends would sometimes ask her to draw for them.
Her road had a stumbling block, when at 14 she was diagnosed with cancer and began an 18-month long treatment regimen of chemo and radiation.
Her belief and faith in God kept her afloat, and was strengthened even more when only 3 days after starting treatment, and after prayer at church before the congregation, that next Monday, the 2lb.
Tumor in her chest had miraculously disappeared.
The Drs said she wouldn't ever have children, but has been blessed with 3 perfect children.
She had 2 at 18 yrs old, but managed to graduate from HS early, with scholarship.
She became an Occupational Therapist for 25 yrs, becoming a Program Director for a VA center as the highlight of her career, and becoming unable to physically perform, then a Realtor for 4 yrs before health issues have limited her ability to work, and has now fallen on art once again for healing and as a self-therapeutic outlet.
