Minister: Good landlords have nothing to fear with new bill

Housing Minister Matthew Pennycook insists “good landlords have nothing to fear” with the government’s Renters’ Rights Bill.

The proposed legislation includes a blanket ban on no-fault evictions under section 21, which allows landlords to evict tenants with two months' notice without providing a reason.
