After 26 years with NBC, Hoda Kotb feels she is ready to turn a new page.

The beloved morning show anchor has decided to step away from her hosting gig at the TODAY Show 17 years after her on-screen morning show debut.

She announced her departure in a letter written to staff this morning, writing 'I know I'm making the right decision, but it's a painful one.

And you all are the reason why.'

Kotb, who is the mother of two daughters, 7-year-old Haley and 4-year-old Hope, later revealed on the show that she is ready to enter this new decade of her life dedicating more time to family, saying 'Obviously I had my kids late in life and they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have.'

New York City Mayor Eric Adams faces federal indictment.

Following a longstanding federal corruption investigation, NYC Mayor Eric Adams is officially facing a 5-count indictment in connection with contributions made to his 2021 mayoral campaign.

With this recent development, Adams becomes the first sitting New York City Mayor to be criminally charged while still in office, facing counts of bribery, fraud, and soliciting illegal foreign campaign contributions.

In the early hours of the morning, members of the FBI were spotted raiding the Mayor's home, Gracie Mansion, which an attorney for Adams now claims was done to 'create a spectacle.'

Despite the allegations and charges he is facing, the Mayor maintains his innocence and refuses to step down despite calls for his resignation from high profile members of his own party.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan reach divorce settlement 6 years after split.

After more than half a decade of legal battles, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have officially settled their divorce.

While declared 'legally single' by a judge in 2019, the two continued to clash over the earnings from the Magic Mike film franchise following the split.

While exact details of the settlement have not been made public at this time, the two signed a binding judgment earlier this week waiving spousal support and therefore putting an end to the saga.

Tatum and Dewan, who are both engaged to current partners Zoƫ Kravitz and Steve Kazee respectively, will no longer be required to appear in court later this year, shutting down a trial that was scheduled to take place in December.
