October 7 anniversary: Starmer reflects on 'day of grief'

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, in a statement to the Commons on the anniversary of the October 7 attack, said: “Fifteen British citizens were brutally slain that day, another has since died in captivity.

He said: “Our thoughts today are with the Jewish people around the world, the Jewish community here in the United Kingdom and all those that we lost a year ago.

For so many the pain and horror of that day is as acute today as it was a year ago.

They live it every day.” Report by Covellm.
