Air India announced on Wednesday that its Chicago-bound flight, carrying 211 passengers, was en route to its destination after being diverted to Canada due to a bomb threat.
On Tuesday, seven Indian flights received similar threats, with at least two requiring emergency landings.
Air India stated that passengers from flight AI127 were transported on a Canadian Air Force aircraft that departed from Iqaluit at 3:54 AM local time, expected to arrive in Chicago at 7:48 AM US time.
