Radio Erena: Eritrea's voice of hope under threat

Every day from Paris, Radio Erena broadcasts to the Eritrean diaspora but also directly to the inhabitants of this country in the Horn of Africa, a veritable information black hole.

However, due to a lack of funding, the dissident radio station is threatened with closure after 15 years of existence.

"It's a collective mission, a mission of hope, we wanted to hear the voice of the public," says the station's editor-in-chief, Amanuel Ghimai Bhata.
