A special technical highlight of the new Lancia Ypsilon is the innovative S.A.L.A.

Interface: Sala, Italian for living room, is an abbreviation for Sound, Air, Light and Augmentation at Lancia.

The system, used for the first time in a vehicle model of the Stellantis Group, centralizes the functions of the audio and air conditioning as well as the lighting.

For example, it is possible to control the sound specially tuned for the interior of the new Lancia Ypsilon and the eight colors of the ambient lighting by touching a single button or using voice commands.

The central instrument cluster and infotainment system are shown by two TFT displays with a screen diagonal of 10.25 inches (26 centimeters).

The colors and layout of the full HD monitors are variable.

Two 180-degree cameras make parking maneuvers with the new Lancia Ypsilon even more comfortable.

In addition, the advanced driver assistance systems enable autonomous driving at level 2.

These include the autonomous emergency braking system, the lane keeping assistant and the adaptive cruise control.
