The ice-skating season at Lake Weissensee in Carinthia began today, with a 15cm thick ice layer allowing access to the western part.
Temperatures have been low, ensuring solid ice.
Around 1,000 locals enjoyed the sunny weather on the 3.5 km ice ring.
