Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey has called for quicker action on social care reforms. It comes as the Health Secretary unveiled a new independent commission on social care on Friday but proposals will not emerge until 2028.
"I'm very disappointed and slightly alarmed at this long timescale.
It means elderly people and disabled people won't get the care they need and their famililes will suffer too," Mr Davey said.
