Shadow crime and policing minister Matt Vickers has backed the Government's new fraud and benefits bill, which proposes banning benefit cheats from driving if they refuse to repay money owed.
However, Vickers argued the bill doesn’t go far enough, saying that more ambitious measures are needed.
