Major Singh, an Indian Army officer, made the ultimate sacrifice during the 1991 Indo-Pakistan Kashmir conflict.
To commemorate his birth anniversary, Nimrat Kaur and her family inaugurated a memorial in 2024, paying tribute not only to her father but also to twelve other soldiers who lost their lives serving the nation.
