Axel Rudakubana, 18, was jailed for life with a 52-year minimum for murdering three young girls in Southport.
Prosecutor Sarah Hammond condemned his refusal to face victims’ families at court, calling it “cowardice,” and praised Merseyside Police for their “perseverance” in handling the “chilling” case to achieve justice for the devastated families.
