King visits Auschwitz and lays wreath in memory of victims

King Charles has visited Auschwitz for the first time, laying a wreath and paying respect to the many victims of the Holocaust on what is the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp.

Earlier in the day, the King visited a Jewish Community Centre in Krakow, making a short speech to mark the 'sombre and scared moment' and greeting Holocaust survivors.
