Starmer: Badenoch's going to be the next lettuce

Sir Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch engaged in a back-and-forth over the government's plans for growing the UK economy.

Sir Keir Starmer accused Kemi Badenoch of talking “absolute nonsense” in her criticisms of the Employment Rights Bill and Labour’s growth plans, and warned that she could be the next “lettuce”, comparing her to predecessor Liz Truss.

The prime minister also branded Labour the "coalition of builders", comparing his party to the Tories who he brands the "coalition of blockers".
