Former National Security Adviser Lord Ricketts says he is “all in favour” of the UK taking a leading role in supporting Ukraine but is “very wary” of the term “peacekeeping” and suggests a “stabilisation force” would be a “better concept”.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said he was willing to put a peacekeeping force into Ukraine, ahead of his trip to Paris on Monday afternoon for a European emergency summit on Ukraine.
