Geraint Thomas targets Tour stage win in retirement year

Geraint Thomas has announced he will retire from cycling at the end of the season.

The 38-year-old is a former Olympic champion and became the first Welshman to win the Tour de France in 2018.

Thomas says he would love to help his Ineos Grenadier teammates and “go for a stage myself” at this summer’s Tour.
