Chancellor defends Starmer's aid budget cuts

Rachel Reeves has defended Sir Keir Starmer's decision to cut the foreign aid budget.

It comes as international development minister Anneliese Dodds has resigned over the budget cuts.

The chancellor said the decision to spend 2.5% on defence "is the right decision in the circumstances we face today as a nation".
