A small plane crashed into the parking lot of a retirement home in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, shortly after takeoff, injuring all five people on board.
The aircraft, a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza, had just departed from Lancaster Airport and was en route to Springfield, Ohio, when the pilot reported an open door issue moments before the crash.
Eyewitnesses saw the plane veer left and nose-dive into the lot, where it exploded on impact, setting multiple vehicles on fire.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and the injured were transported to local hospitals.
