Riot police in Istanbul fire tear gas, rubber bullets and pepper spray at crowds out protesting the arrest of the Turkish city's mayor, Ekrem Imamoglu, for the fourth night in a row.
His arrest took place days before a primary vote by the opposition CHP party to elect a candidate for the 2028 presidential election as the government accused him of "corruption" and "terrorism".
While one of his lawyers says a court has now formally placed him under arrest in a graft investigation, they have decided against doing so in a separate "terror probe".
