Hollywood, Singapore, Bedford… UK set for Universal resort

The site of a former brickworks in Bedfordshire will soon become the location of the first Universal theme park in Europe.

The resort is set to open in 2031 following an agreement brokered between the US company, the government, and the local council.

The government says the new park could generate £50bn for the economy and create 28,000 new jobs, most of which will be for the local community.
