Yemen's Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi declared the Bab al-Mandab Strait and Arabian Sea closed to Israeli and American ships.
In a fiery speech, he said nine attacks targeted US naval assets in response to the Gaza war.
Al-Houthi condemned Israel’s siege of Gaza, calling it genocide, and criticized Arab governments and media for their silence.
He highlighted US-led attacks on Yemen, Israeli aggression in Syria and Lebanon, and urged greater Palestinian unity.
The death toll in Gaza from the ongoing assault has crossed 51,000, with over 117,000 injured.
