Former New Mexico Judge Joel Cano and his wife Nancy have been arrested after authorities discovered they were harboring alleged Tren de Aragua gang member Cristhian Ortega-Lopez.
The Venezuelan national, who crossed illegally near Eagle Pass, Texas, was later found living in the Cano family’s guesthouse.
DHS evidence—tattoos, voicemails, and texts—tie him to the gang.
Shocking images show Ortega-Lopez celebrating holidays with the family.
Firearms were seized from their daughter’s home.
He now faces up to 15 years in federal prison for weapons possession.
