Edmundo González Urrutia is a Venezuelan politician, analyst, and diplomat. He is a member of the Unitary Platform political alliance and the elected president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. A national and international political crisis erupted following the Venezuelan government's announcement of the election results, which analysts argue were not based on the actual votes cast.
