Electric Range Rover prototype shows off radical new shape

The Range Rover EV is due to launch later this year
First pictures of an electric Range Rover model testing show it will be lower and sleeker than the ICE model
The first electric Range Rover prototype has been spotted testing, as the brand prepares to reveal its first EV in the coming months.
New pictures sent to Autocar suggest the debut electric Range Rover will be much lower, sleeker and longer in profile than the current Range Rover - potentially even with room for a third row of seats.
It is not clear whether this is a prototype for the full-sized electric Range Rover due to launch later this year, or a separate model line entirely; JLR is also preparing electric successors to the Range Rover Sport and Velar, which are closer in silhouette to this new model.
JLR refused to comment on the images.
