Appeal: Passenger Seriously Injured In Collision, Wakefield

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in Wakefield.
It happened at about 4.50pm yesterday (Tuesday) when a blue Hyundai i10 travelling towards the M1 northbound slip road on the Durkar Interchange Roundabout left the road and collided with a lamp post.
An 89-year-old local man who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital for further treatment.
His injuries are believed to be potentially life threatening.
The driver was uninjured.
