Appeal For Information After Elderly Man Injured In Collision Dies In Hospital

Police are issuing a new appeal for information after an elderly man who was seriously injured in a road traffic collision passed away in hospital.
Colin Benn, who was 90 and from Wakefield, died on Sunday, 27 December following the collision in Cliff Parade, which happened at just after 1pm on 15 December.
Mr Benn was in collision with a white Lexus IS 300h car, near to the junction with Wood Street.
The driver of the vehicle, a 34-year-old local man, has been spoken to by police.
