Serious road traffic collision A39, Wadebridge

At approximately 0838hrs on Friday 14^th May police were informed of a road traffic collision on the A39 Wadebridge Bypass, Wadebridge involving a black Jeep Renegade and a Renault Scenic.

The driver from the Jeep along with the driver and 3 children from the Renault were taken to Treliske Hospital by ambulance.  The injuries of the driver of the Jeep were later described as potentially life threatening.

Officers from the Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team and officers from Wadebridge attended along with a Forensic Collision Investigator and Scene of Crime Officer and a full investigation of the scene took place. 

Police would like to thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.  Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision and who may have dash cam footage to telephone 101 quoting Log 153 14/05/2021.
