Serious collision, A39 Wadebridge

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of a two-vehicle collision on the A39 near Wadebridge, between Padstow and Bodmin junctions, on Friday 14 May at 8.40am.
The incident involved a black Jeep Renegade and a silver Renault Scenic.
The driver of the Jeep and the occupants of the Renault, the driver and three children, were taken to Treliske Hospital by ambulance. The driver of the Jeep suffered potentially life-threatening injuries.
Local officers Alliance Roads Policing Team officers attended alongside a Forensic Collision Investigator and Scenes of Crime Officer and the road was closed for around eight hours while an investigation was conducted.
Witnesses of the collision, or anyone in the area prior to the collision with dashcam footage which may have captured either vehicle involved, are asked to contact police on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting log 153, 14/5/21.
