Murder Investigation Launched Following Death of 19-Year-Old Man in Chapeltown Area of Leeds

Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a 19-year-old man in Leeds. 

Police received a report at 2:10am today (Saturday, 26 August) that a male was being assaulted outside a property on Francis Street in the Chapeltown area of the city.  

Emergency services attended at the scene and the injured man was located and taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
